Shipping & Shipping Fees

Shipping & Shipping Fees - Orders of $100 or more before tax ship free. Orders less than $100 before tax ship for a flat rate fee of $9.99. We'll also group orders so if you and a friend want to place 2 or more separate orders but ship to the same address I can group them together towards meeting the $100 minimum for free shipping. All orders can be either shipped to Sanborn Gun Shop for in person pick up OR orders can be shpped directly to you or in the case of firearms directly to your FFL. Firearms are shipped to and from the Sanborn Shop via UPS - USPS or FedEx. No shipments will be made outside of the continental United States.

Shipments to your local FFL - All firearms must be shipped to a current FFL. Prior to shipment of any firearm to any FFL dealer, a copy of FFL must be submitted to Sanborn Gun Shop. FFL's can send FFL paperwork to jerry@sanborngunshop.com

NICS Background Check:

In Store Customers:  SGS will perform a NICS background check for all in store customers prior to transferring any / all firearms as required by Federal law. For in store pick up customers - we STRONGLY encourage allowing SGS to perform this NICS background check at the time of purchase as this will help identify any potential issues before a firearm(s) is shipped to our store. Any in store customer who purchases a firearm prior to receiving a "PROCEED" response from the NICS background check system may be subject to a $75 fee (in addition to a minimum 15% restocking fee plus shipping fees associated with shipping the firearm back to the distributor) if it is later determined that the firearm may not be transferred to the customer due to a "DENIED" NICS response. NO EXCEPTIONS

Mail Order Customers:  Once a firearm is shipped to a mail order customers FFL that customer will be subject to subject to a $75 fee (in addition to a minimum 15% restocking fee plus shipping fees associated with shipping the firearm back to the distributor) if it is later determined that the firearm may not be transferred to the customer due to a "DENIED" NICS response. NO EXCEPTIONS
