Returning Merchandise to Sanborn Gun Shop

General

- A Return Authorization (RA#) Number is required for all returned merchandise and must be requested within 30 days of original invoice date. Visit our returns section on our site to request an RA#. You will receive an email with further instructions when your return request is processed.
- RA#’s are valid for 10 business days from the date of issue.
- All authorized non-firearm returns are subject to a minimum a 15% restocking fee and the buyer will be responsible for return shipping unless the product is defective cosmetically or mechanically when it arrived from distributor.

- All authorized firearm returns are subject to a minimum a 15% restocking fee PLUS a $75 fee and the buyer will be responsible for return shipping unless the product is defective cosmetically or mechanically when it arrived from distributor.

- Merchandise that has been used is not subject to return to Sanborn Gun Shop and should be referred to the manufacturer’s warranty repair center.

- Return requests submitted for cosmetic reasons must be accompanied by pictures and will be accepted at the discretion of Sanborn Gun Shop and / or its distributor(s).
- Once the returned item has been received and inspected, credit will be issued to the account.

 

NICS Background Check:

In Store Customers:  SGS will perform a NICS background check for all in store customers prior to transferring any / all firearms as required by Federal law. For in store pick up customers - we STRONGLY encourage allowing SGS to perform this NICS background check at the time of purchase as this will help identify any potential issues before a firearm(s) is shipped to our store. Any in store customer who purchases a firearm prior to receiving a "PROCEED" response from the NICS background check system may be subject to a $75 fee (in addition to a minimum 15% restocking fee plus shipping fees associated with shipping the firearm back to the distributor) if it is later determined that the firearm may not be transferred to the customer due to a "DENIED" NICS response. NO EXCEPTIONS

Mail Order Customers:  Once a firearm is shipped to a mail order customers FFL that customer will be subject to subject to a $75 fee (in addition to a minimum 15% restocking fee plus shipping fees associated with shipping the firearm back to the distributor) if it is later determined that the firearm may not be transferred to the customer due to a "DENIED" NICS response. NO EXCEPTIONS    



Optics / Sights
Optics, Iron sights, and mounts must be brand new in the package to be eligible for return. If installation has been attempted or completed, returns will not be accepted by Sanborn Gun Shop and any issues should be referred to the manufacturer’s warranty repair center.

Refused Shipments to Local FFL's
- First refused shipment = 15% Restocking Fee.
- Second refused shipment = 25% Restocking Fee.
- Third refused shipment = 30% Restocking Fee
