Firearms & Ammunition

All firearm and ammunition sales are final once an order has been placed.

If a firearm or ammunition product is found to be defective before transfer, Sanborn Gun Shop will work directly with the supplier or manufacturer to arrange a replacement or repair, in accordance with their policies.

If a product is found to be defective after transfer, we will guide you through the manufacturer's warranty process. Warranty claims after transfer are handled directly between the customer and the manufacturer.

Non-Firearms & Non-Ammunition

A Return Authorization number (RA#) is required for all authorized returns.

  • Request window: An RA# must be requested within 30 days of the original invoice date. Call us at (716) 525-3674 to request one.
  • Validity: Each RA# is valid for 10 business days from the date it is issued.
  • Fees: All authorized returns are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee plus a $75 flat fee.
  • Shipping: The customer is responsible for any applicable return shipping costs.

If a product is found to be defective, we will guide you through the manufacturer's warranty process.

Incomplete Transfers & Refused Shipments

Customers are responsible for meeting all NICS, federal, state, and local requirements needed to complete a firearm transfer.

If a firearm or other item cannot be transferred to the customer for any reason, including a refused or returned shipment to the customer or the receiving FFL, Sanborn Gun Shop may offer the customer available options. All applicable Sanborn Gun Shop policies, fees, and conditions continue to apply.
